Write about things that make me laugh

haha one of my favorite things to do with friends :)

My brother golfs with us quite regularily. He lives in a small apartment and doesn’t drive so he stores his clubs at our place. We went out golfing and he was almost out of tees. He bought a small bag from where we were but never ended up actually needing them. He put them in his bag and we took it home with us.

That night we used the sander and sanded down the tops of most of them until they were almost flat. We repainted them and put them back in the bag so it didn’t look like it had been opened.

We went golfing the next week and when he went to tee off his ball kept falling off. He was getting very frustrated, bending down over and over to replace the ball. He threw the first tee away and I guess grabbed one of the good ones and tee’d off. He broke it on that swing so on the next hole he repeated the whole process..swearing all the while.

We just watched, trying to contain our laughter. He kept talking about how mad he was at the crappy tees he’d been sold. He was so mad that he was telling us how the next time we went back he was returning them and letting them know how mad he was. We just laughed to ourselves.

The next week we went back to the first place and didn’t say a word. Unfortunately, my parents told him before we could watch him try and return them.

Sometimes I will go to say something and something that I totally wasn’t thinking will just pop out of my mouth. It always makes me laugh.

For example: I was on the phone with my friend and my husband kept asking me questions. I went to say “Shush, can’t you see I’m on the phone”, but what actually ended up coming out of my mouth was “Suck it!”. We were both shocked by that. Not so bad though. The friend I was talking to was driving with her husband and he missed their turn. Instead of her usual “Honey” she said “You went the wrong way F&*K Face”. Didn’t go over well… And it’s hard to appologize when you are laughing, which makes you look like more of a jerk.

Is it just me?? Maybe I am a huge dork but that show makes me laugh out loud. Not the videos.. just the witty comments that Tom Bergeron spews.. haha. Seriously though, shots to the groin never get old.
