Overall progress so far 1 month ago

Wow this may take a long time but overall, so far, I have lost only about 15 pounds (from my highest weight ever) I have maintained that loss since my “workout/motivation” buddy left for Puerto Rico in early August by journaling what I eat. I think I’ll start losing more weight when he comes back on Nov. 5th. I’m happy I was able to maintain the loss though… I have never been good at maintaining a certain weight. Even a 15 pound loss gives me some confidence because I wasn’t super overweight to begin with.

OK i had been trying 2 lose wieght for a while now and i dont know what to do.i tried many things and they dont work.dieting is so hard and to stick 2.help please!!!!

I have lost about 8.5 pounds in the last 10 or so days. A lot of that is probably water weight because it is the very beginning of changing my habits but oh well. I eat a lot less and choose healthier things. I haven’t had fast food or chocolate like I used to often.

Today I weighed myself and I weigh 141.5… which is good. The weight is coming off slower that I had wanted it to, but the really weird thing is that I don’t think about losing the weight as much as i used to. I honeslty think that stressing myself out by thinking about losing it made it harder to actually lose it. I’m not trying to be an expert or anything… i’ve only lost 8 pounds, but it’s a good 8 pounds… and it feels great!

So, I weighed myself today. 147.5 so, that’s 2.5 pounds, pretty good. I’m happy with that. My goal is to lose 1.5 pounds a week, which should be very doable… but I have to DO the work. It was really really awesome to get a reminder e-mail from myself yesterday. It was really cool reading my note telling myself that I’m worth it and that I can do it. I think the more I read it and tell myself the more I’ll believe it. But I must confess… I went to McDonald’s tonight… errr. But now I’ve had my fix for a while, and I can keep chuggin along from here. more next week…!

So, I’m pretty sure I’ve attemped to achieve this goal a bunch of times. I just found this website today. I think it’s really awesome to see what other people want to do with their lives. There’s such a variety of things and I’m motivated by other people meeting their own goals. So… I guess I’ll be bold and say I’m 150 pounds. I’m a short female, so trust me; I really do need to lose the 30. I’m a great person, but I want to FEEL great. I’m sure you know how it is. More to come next week.
