I need to be able to do a handstand first but this is on the list anyway!

I learn’t whilst I was on holiday in Barbados. I practised almost everyday over the two weeks and kept trying and trying and trying. It taught me that if you keep trying at something and you first don’t succeed then try and try again. The next thing that I would love to be able to do is a backflip ;-)
A theater actress in her mid-30s I work with occaisonally can do a handstand and then walk on her hands a few steps. I am so inspired. No where near this yet, but I’m going to do this.

At the end of football on Wednesday I had a bit of a proper go at doing this. I improved my balance quite a lot over the course of the 10 minutes I was trying. I managed to take a couple of steps, which was quite cool.
I’ll keep trying. Football’s tonight too, but inside because of the rain. I’m less comfortable practising on a solid wooden floor! :P

I’ve been giving this a few quick tries when I play football on a Friday. It’s been suggested that I do a handstand by a wall and try to walk away from it. Apparently that’s a good way of starting out.
Looks like I’ll have to give it a go tomorrow. :D
So I bought a movie about this. And it has helped alot. I can’t do it yet. But If I keep working at it then I will be able to soon.
