THE RIDDLE
Two old friends who haven’t seen each other for a while meet on the street one day.
“Bill, it’s good to see you again,” says Jim.
Jim replies, “yeah, a lot has changed in the 20 years since I’ve seen you last. I have three boys now.”
Bill says, “Oh wait, let me guess their ages. I will need a clue, though.”
Jim thinks about it for a minute and says, “if you multiply their three ages, the product is 36.”
Bill immediately asks for another clue.
Jim thinks again and says, “the sum of their three ages is the number on the building across the street.”
Bill looks over and sees the number, but then asks for one more clue.
Jim quickly says, “my oldest boy has red hair.”
“Got it,” says Bill.
What are the ages? 4 years ago
