Sophia is weekending before exams
My mom and I have always been interested in the Holocaust and we think we have a deceased relative who escaped the Holocaust but never spoke of it. We learned three years ago that we were Jewish when my grandmother told us, thinking it wasn’t important that we didn’t know until now! We’ve read books about Hitler and the people affected by the Holocaust and I think it would be a great experience if we went together and lit a candle.

I did this! It wasn’t until I read this goal that I remembered it…but now I do. My favorite part of the museum was this long hallway with pictures hung on the walls, as far as the eye could see. And the Hall of Remembrance was beautiful; the quote on the wall was so fitting. I would love to go back.

I thought this was such a neat experience. After going through the entire presentation and museum, this is where you end up. You can choose to light a candle or not. WOW, was lighting a candle neat! It was just cool to see all of the candles and see how many others were thinking and remembering as well.
