Give someone a reason to believe in God

This doesn’t count because he’s already a firm believer, but it’s related, so I wanted to share a quote from the eloquent introvert himself.

“I believe that nothing is bigger than God. But you’re the biggest little piece of God I have.”

I know he realizes what a powerful statement that is, but I’m not sure if he knows how much it meant to me.

I think I did this, but it’s not like she didn’t believe before.
I just helped remind her.

Still, I feel like I have accomplished this, but this is a goal I should be constantly striving for.

I just woke up from a dream and in the dream I did this. I don’t know why I would dream about this.

It’s like we’re two hungry people. I’ve found food. It’s an absolute crazy idea to me that I wouldn’t at least tell the other hungry person where to just FIND the food.

I do this every week as a youth leader. But one of the neatest times for me was just this past September when I was able to share my heart with a good friend.

Today a group of us was having a discussion about God and different religions and we all believe in God, so I didn’t give them a reason really, but I think I kind of maybe a little changed a smidgen of one of my friends’ views of something. That made me feel good. :]

I’m not really counting this because it wasn’t really a matter of making this person believe, but I was in the car with some 11-12 yr old kids during “Mission Week” at my church and on the way to the shelter I suggested we pray the chaplet of divine mercy and the kids in the car complied. Then on the way back this little quiet boy turned around and was like “hey, um, do you think we could maybe do the rosary thing again?” I WAS LIKE YES OF COURSE! It was so neat that he was the one that wanted to pray and wasn’t having anyone else tell him to or ask him to.

This doesn’t really qualify but I just thought it was the bizzomb.

If I had to give some one a reason to believe, I don’t know what I would pick. There’s an infinite amount of reasons. It seems like it would be more difficult to find a reason not to believe.

I think Jennifer and I may have done this the other day, but I think there is still more I could do.
