earn a phd in philosophy

It’s been 10 years since I graduated with a BA. I’ve been mulling it over for that long. I’ve finally decided to pursue a PhD in philosophy. It just seems so daunting, with a family to worry about. What if I can’t get accepted anywhere? What if I do get accepted and can’t handle the workload? What about money? What if we have to move somewhere far away because I don’t get accepted to any of the Pittsburgh schools? What if I can’t decide on a research topic????

When I entered this goal, I spelled it correctly; PhD. How the hell can someone want or expect to get a degree when they don’t even know how to write it? Or, if they are aware of the format, be too lazy to hit shift for two letters?
