How to publish a book of my poetry

How I did it: I wrote a book, found a publisher who'd let me own all of the rights. Marketed myself. I even got it into Chapters... just one store, but I'm on my way. I even have a fan club of 80 people and counting. And it's only been out a few months... I think...
Lessons & tips: Market yourself. Be prepared to take peoples flack. And if you're self publishing. Be prepared to loose some money at first. (I made most of it back in a few months) It's fun being a writer, until you are an author, then it's work. GET A DAY JOB! GET A DAY JOB! GET A DAY JOB!
