Be the lead in a show

This fall, my school is doing Bye Bye Birdie. I want to be Rose Grant. I can do it.

I’m leaving the theatre industry at the end of the year to begin a new career. I’ve been very successful in theatre but I feel that my energies can be better spent elsewhere. I’ll be returning to school to get another BA (this time in a field that won’t make my family cringe or my mother cry).

I have always been the character actress, the supporting role…Never the lead! I know that they say that there are no small parts only small actors but they lie there are small parts…I know! I’ve had them. Someday I’ll be a star! Someday! :)
