Buy a new motorcycle

after looking at both bikes a lot, the RC51 scares the hell out of me because it’s got all that torque from the twin. but the sound from the bike is just so unholy, i don’t think i can resist it. by contrast, the blackbird is so fast it’s hard to ignore. it’s a friggin missile. i’d really love to own a black one, but i think i’m going to go with the RC51.

it will likely come down to which one i can find in the most-stock, most-cared-for condition.

I think I’d like a Honda RC51 or a CBR1100XX. If the BMW R800R is as nice as it looks when it’s new next year, I might finance it. But so far, it looks like I want the big guns. And, surprisingly, from Honda, when I’m really more of a Ninja person.

What can I say? It’s easy. Takes money. Can be risky. Can be liberating. New bikes have brakes! New bikes are safer. Motorcycles improve your access! get 40 miles to the gallon. Woohoo!

Well, I went from owning a Ninja 250 to a Ninja 636, and now I want a GSX-R1000. I’ve only been riding for one year. Some people think I’m insane, but I’m really just crazy about speed. My other choice is the Yamaha R1. Both are great, but the GSX-R1 is faster, therefore, my number 1 choice.

It took a little while to get the nerve up to actually go into a bit extra debt to get this new crotch rocket, but when I am gliding down the road, I know it was worth it.

This one I finally did. I decided to get a loan and take the leap. I picked up a new Suzuki GSXR-600. See, it shines.
