Well, I hope that Abby opened the card I sent her six weeks ago. I hope she enjoyed the birthday song I sang on her answering machine. And I hope she picked up the package I sent and opened it. (BTW, those are biodegradable packing material that are actually edible. They’re made of corn starch and will dissolve in water.)

One thing’s is for sure though. I know Abby is going to love this picture. If only I could’ve delivered him for her birthday, maybe she wouldn’t have wanted to cancel it.
