How to travel to India

How I did it: Saved money. Bought Lonely Planet India. Got Visa and immunizations. Bought plane ticket. Reserved my first night in Delhi at hotel grand godwin. Got on plane. Arrived in Delhi. *********************************************************************************
Lessons & tips: prepare to get sick. maybe even really sick! three months after returning and my stomach still is not right! bring rehydration mixture. bring vitamin supplements. maybe a box of granola bars or fruit source bars for those situations when the food preparation is sketchy and you've got the munchies!

How I did it: Saved up some cash and booked a plane ticket for 5 weeks... don't forget to get your visa and shots. After all today I did my travel and hotel bookings for much awaited summer vacation in Ooty, a hill station in Tamil Nadu (India).
Now I am just waiting for the day to come when I’ll start my journey to one of the fascinating tourist destinations in India to escape the scorching summers, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
