knit something else

Three weeks ago, with the prospect of much waiting room time looming over my head, (see goal #1), I started two scarves. I chose simple patterns and pretty yarns. One is for my daughter; I’m planning to give the other to a warming project.

I’m very pleased to note that I’m nearly done with both of them. My daughter’s scarf just needs casting off. The other scarf needs 5 more rows and fringe. I’m very excited.

I know how to knit. I’ve made scarves and, when I was little, wacky doll clothes. However I’ve never made anything truly “wearable”. That’s my goal. I need to figure out what I want to make that’s not too hard, but worth the effort.
