learn how to ride a horse

joined up for the course, got up to lesson number 2, so excited about number 3 on saturday. horses are amazing creatures, they just look so noble. i think this is something to which i will stick to

I’ve always loved horses. They’re so strong and beautiful. I’d like to learn how to ride. I just think it would be a very exhilerating experience.

This is something I’ve always wanted to do, one of the things I wished I learned when I was a kid (swimming, ballet,etc.). Of course, like most things, it takes more than once to learn how to do but the first thing I had to learn was to not be scared!
Luckily, a friend’s dad, who is a true cowboy, showed me the ropes so to speak. On a recent vacation trip to Colorado, I had a few opportunities to ride and while it was scary (one horse named Spot even kicked up while I was one him) it was fun, too. So now I’m a cowgirl!
