Been on a few dates, feeling more confident and more able to focus on the short term and enjoying the date.
How I did it: Online dating worked for me. It was very efficient. It narrowed down the qualities I was looking for in a man. Much more efficient than any night club! Just one look at someone's profile and you can decide whether or not you want to be bothered.
Lessons & tips: Don't waste you time with people who won't commit and can't add anything to you life.

Went on a date on Tuesday. So proud of myself!!! And it was so much fun!
About three months after I wrote an entry for this I met my boyfriend through online dating. In May it will be 2 years since we’ve been together!
first date of the year, I got called by his girlfriend the next day! (I didn’t know) I am still optimistic about my love life though.
I’ve decided I don’t want to date until I’m ready to get married; therefore this goal is no longer applicable.
NO clue who the last guy I talked about was (Joe maybe?). Anyhow, I’ve been set up a couple times but that’s it. Got set up last night with a guy my friend knows. It turned out he was in my 2nd grade class. Had a decent time but doubt I’ll see him again.

And I don’t mean “heart” as in love – I mean enthusiasm. But I am making some new friends – so that’s always fun.
It’s time to step it up, and be bold.
I haven’t gone on a date this year so far, but that shall change. It’s all about making new friends, and getting out there. Let’s see how far I can make it…
What a challenge. heh.
