Make a living with my creativity

i have so many ideas running through my head I just don’t know what to do with any of them. I have decided to write a business plan for my masters thesis. I could just write one without much meaning, but I actually want it to work. I’m a sculptor and I want to figure out a way to make that my career.

Because Hell! there is no fun being a slave.

Once I move out of the crampy, icky, stressful living situation that I’m currently in, I’m going to really focus on my crafting skills. I’m still working on crochet stuff right now.. and I made some paper.. but I have a ways to go. It’s just hard to carve out the time or muster up the energy to be creative and consistent right now..

I don’t like to make up excuses.. but this is not normal. Finally coming home to MY place where I can do what I want, exactly when I want to.. and be able to keep my place clean and energy-efficient (and I mean the personal kind).. :)

Often times, I tend to not believe in myself or allow myself to really envision a successful life base off of income from my creativity.

I’m considering my uncomfortable living and working situation to be a stimulating factor to get over my insecurities and give it a shot already.

I still need to purchase some supplies to make it happen and get it started, but the purchases are not super large and will really be a great investment in the long run!

In four years, when I graduate, I’m going to New York.

I’m going to make it happen. And I won’t accept defeat.

Ordered Writer’s Market Companion

I to be able to use my talents in photography or travel writing to make a living.

I suppose that I kind of do this already, writing software. (Solving complex problems does require a lot of creativity.) But the scope of it is so narrow – I’d like to broaden it to include my skills with visual arts & the written word.

I have a million idea of starting my own thing. I know I am creative, people tell me that and so did all my bosses but I don’t seem to be creative enough to make it work. Ok, enough negativity now next year is a deadline..!
