NightTripper Finds that the best stories are the ones we write together.
I find that it’s easier to say I don’t care than to admit that I miss him.
I haven’t seen my father since last summer.
I’m going away to the city for Christmas, and when I told him a month ago, he said we would do something together.
I knew that wouldn’t happen.
I’m leaving at eleven tomorrow morning.
It didn’t happen.
Merry Christmas to you too, Dad.

Dear Dad,
I’m sick and tired of you thinking that because I’m in the midst of my teenage years, I have no interest in spending time with you.
I have no interest in spending time with you and your other family.

I mentioned to him that we should hang out sometime. (Again)
He didn’t seem to be too interested, and he changed the subject.
But, of course, he spends plenty of time with his “new” family.
My father is just one big dissapointment.

According to his doctor, he is no longer making his own blood. He seems to think that it isn’t a huge problem but I am not so sure. They took him off EPO (procrit) because “it wasn’t working anymore”. How can they be so sure?

Though are relationship was something out of a horror story when I was child my father and I have put all things aside and began building a relationship. This all began a few years ago when I moved back from Alabama. We are closer now than we ever have been. We talk almost daily on the phone but I don’t see him as much as I would like. I would love to go fishing with him again like when I was six and I got a huge catfish only to come down with Scarletina Fever later that night. Or go motorcycle riding like we use to. Though this is difficult for him now that he has emphyzemia. We never get that alone time now that we didn’t take advantage of often enough when I was a child.
