go to a gallery opening

So I was walking down Sunset Plaza at the weekend and happened pass by a new gallery and they had some interesting peices in the window and so I went inside. Turns out they were just opening up that very day and they were having the proper opening in the evening. While looking around in there, there was an Italian guy who owned the place was rather upset that someone had let him down. He was on the phone to whoever it was telling them he was going to ruin them and their business for letting him down. It was all rather funny, and I couldn’t help but laugh. I kinda wish I’d gone back in the evening and seen the official opening but unfortunately I didn’t. Maybe next time.

I like going to galleries, but it doesn’t happen nearly as often as I’d like. I think going to an opening would be really cool, get to meet some new people and talk about what’s really going on with the art.

My roommate and some people she goes to art school with opened a gallery and I got to go the opening! Not quite the same as in Sex and the City…but it was still fun!
