get high speed internet

That still has dial – up. I can’t watch youtube, it takes forEVER to get to sites, etc. If I post it, I will do it! So I’m listing it as a goal on my 43things account and I’m going to do it! Soon! Maybe even this weekend!

Every once in a while I do one of my things. Cool.

Comcast comin’ to give me the hookup. Funny how when it’s time for things to happen, they just happen naturally.

Next… a new computer.

keeps me chained to my cable company unfortunately. worth the trade off until something better comes along.

Not yet, and I’m payin the price in TIME. It’s barely a luxury at this point, and still I wait.

The internet is just not the internet without a high-speed always-on connection!

Last night I did a Yahoo image search for “baby moose” and it took a full minute to load. Tonight I did the same search, but with “baby squirrels” since I didn’t want the efficacy of my pristine experiment to be compromised by the cache. All the images loaded in LESS THAN 3 SECONDS. I was very impressed.. but, I thought, baby squirrels are very small. Can it load taller baby animals this quickly? So I tried “baby sloths”... and it was just as fast!! =)

I’ve wanted to do this for a LONG time, I’m going to quick make a goal of it so I can check it off later. Is that cheating? I just want to bask in the warm glow of accomplishment while downloading cute animals at record speed.
