are beautiful, I love the traditions, the sign of peace, the music, all that jazz, but I don’t go anymore and I have no desire to. Goodbye church, see you at the next funeral and/or wedding.

A family that babysat us used to take us with them to Friday night mass.
I’m Protestant, but there’s something so beautiful and mysterious and holy about the rituals of a Catholic Mass, not to mention the very buildings in which they are held.

for some reason decided when we were in bolivia that we should go to mass in spanish. i’m also an atheist, and felt like an imposter, but at least i couldn’t understand it because i don’t speak spnaish.
moment was the Christmas mass I attended at a German church in Berlin. The church was only lit by candles. Truly amazing.
on a regular basis. It’s nice to go on a Saturday afternoon and reflect on things and be thankful for everything you have.

Once during college I want to the on campus Catholic Mass, although I didn’t partake in Communion out of respect for their closed tradition. Overall as a Protestant I was surprised by how minor the differences between Catholics and Protestants actually are and how most likely people who claim otherwise are camping out on the little problem issues while ignoring the fact that no church is perfect and will have some “unbiblical practices and principals” present regardless of whatever or not you are able to see what they are.
