send someone a "just thinking of you card"

I found a completely lovely card at Papyrus (apparently a store full of beautiful, expensive cards) that came with a bookmark inside, and sent it to Katie because I love and miss her. She just sent me a message to say that it completely made her day! That’s a good feeling – I’m glad I was able to surprise her. All I want is for her to be happy and so it’s nice to be able to add a bit of cheer to her day. Maybe I should go do this for the rest of my friends…!

I’ve chosen the recipient. Now I just have to wait a little while before sending, because I just saw her this weekend and it’s more fun when you haven’t seen someone in a while. I think she’ll appreciate something to make her smile and know that her friends love and support her during the tough times. And personally, I love getting mail…which means I also love sending it to get other people excited.

It wasn’t a card, but rather a postcard I randomly decided to send my sister. It made me feel like a good older sister :)
