I sucked at first, but after a little practice another day it was more fun because I could actually catch the waves correctly. I definitely recommend it!

Plus, there aren’t exactly surfable wave on the atlantic. I’ve done this at the Outer Banks, and had a great time.
Alright – it’s happening. On my birthday, decided that’s a great gift to give myself. So, went out and bought a decent board, fins (comfortable ones), and a rash guard shirt – you need this as your chest gets really irritated rubbing on the board with saltwater and sunburn….
the board even came with a “how to” DVD… of course we know it’s not brain surgery, but there are techniques.
gonna try it this weekend or next weekend

Chuq (username: yakuza) Yes we did!
Otherwise, you’ll have a boogie board rash, and that really really hurts.
This is a lot of fun! You’ve got to get the timing right with the waves, but other than that, it’s easy! I went last week at Cayucos here in California. _
