I’ve done all the main quests, and have finished most of the side quests of Oblivion since I started it two years ago.
My first disc which I gave to my nephew in the end, since I some how unlocked a half hour feature that told me that if the character completed every mission, that it would grant the character to be the next King of the country.
I bought another up to date version with the expansions, but the thing is I missed the day and time on it to visit a certain character. Until today, but for some reason I was able to talk to the character again which said ‘You have missed ten quests. To finish them all you need to find a certain crown that has been lost for the past two centuries’.
the lady then told my character a forty minute length story about the history of the lost crown of Tarnaledge.
To find this one person, I had to speak go to at least ninety different people that is scattered around the country.
My advice it’s not worth it.
As for being a vampire, don’t try it either since I was so hated that I couldn’t go to any of the villages or the city. Vampires became jealous and tried to kill the character, he was drummed out of the every guild.
Every villager had weapons, pitch forks, swords, axes, and many more.
Well, I deleted that six months ago. The only guild that had him was the assassin guild.
Now I just want to finish the game.

1st, I’ll say, I’ve done mostly exploring. I have the GotY edition, but haven’t done anything w/ the expansions yet…as the stats I’m about to post will show, so here they are:
Game hrs: +178 (This is beyond that point where u decide if a game is worth the money, cuz it is!).
Guilds:
Thieves- Master Thief
Mages- Associates
Fighters- Footpad
Dark Brotherhood- N/a
Arena- N/a
For those of you Xbox achievement buffs, my last one was the ‘Located the Shrine of Dagon’ and I’m currently looking for a Daedric artifact.
Also, if you hav any info on what it’s like being a vampire, plz share it with me. I’d like 2 try becoming one, but don’t know if I wanna use my current character or start another one to become a vampire.

The end of the Main Quest is frighteningly shiny. That’s all I has to say.
SHINY! SHINE SHINE!

Just a quick update. I finished the Mage’s Guild questline the other night—very exciting stuff! Unfortunately, since that night I’ve been quite wrapped up in another one of my goals (putting together a Series 2 DVD set of Doctor Who) and haven’t had a chance to go back to it yet. I’m thinking I might jump into my Fighter’s Guild quests when I do. It’s the only questline I’ve barely started, so I think I should probably try to at least catch it up to the rest.

Should I be embarrassed? I don’t want to admit how much I paid to upgrade the video card. Well… as far as addictions go, at least this one isn’t dangerous. Word of advice: get the guide book.

w00t!! Last night I finished the Arena questline, becoming Grand Champion! A pretty decent acomplishment if I do say so myself. I’m also not too far from finishing the Mage’s Guild questline. Probably 8 or 9 missions to go. Then I can be the Arch-Mage of the Guild!! Now all I haveto do is find a good 6-8 hour block where I can sit down and get’er done.
I’m such a geek. lol.

Oblivion is a brilliant game, but it’s just so massive!! The scope of the game is overwhelmingly huge.
I was really enjoying it for a few weeks when I first picked it up, but I decided to put it down for a bit as I was wasting 5 or 6 hours a day playing. If I didn’t walk away, nothing would ever get done in the real world!
Unfortunately I moved on to other games and Oblivion has been gathering dust ever since. It had been more than a month since I fired it up, but yesterday I changed all that. I popped it in for the first time in ages, put about 4 hours into it, and earned a whopping five achievements for guild-related missions!
Looks like I’m back into playing Oblivion, so I’m officially working on this ticking this goal off my list. Considering all of the not fun things I’ve crossed off my list lately, I think I’ve earned this treat. :)
