I have been at my sister’s house for most of these holidays, and she is really good with her fruit intake, so I’ve naturally started the craving for it!
Been doing very well, and today I had a fruit smoothie with berries and banana and soy milk for breakky and it was DELISH!
This will work very well with my shopping sabbatical goal as well, because I’m not purchasing any snacky or rubbish foods and takeaway, so fruit consumption will be rocking in January!
weekdays – great! I even have ppl admiring my great big bowl of fruit on my work desk : )
weekends – hmmm not as admirable, but we’ll get there (we will!)
i’m doing well – and summer fruit is well and truly in season so i’m in heaven!
even had 3 pieces today ;)
i love fruit – today i had watermelon and strawberries. YUM for summer fruit!
I’ve also stocked up on the little fruit containers in the fridge at work so whenever I’m peckish, i grab one of those. Sure, it’s not fresh fruit but it is better than chocolate!!
i’ve been on detox for the last week, where meals are delivered and stuff. I’m eating regularly and having lots of provided snacks.. but they are not actually huge on the 2 pieces of fruit a day. it’s really healthy and yummy but i actually really miss my fruit. and seeing as i’m paying so much for the detox, i don’t feel i should have to buy more food!
However, I am going to.. i miss my fruit!
i have gotten off this a bit but looking forward to getting back on the fruit trail!
So day one went off to a bad start with only 1 piece of fruit eaten, though I did only add this thing late in the day so will count today as day 1.
I seem to have trouble keeping consistent with the 5-a-day thing. I go all out and then when I’ve eaten through the fruit and veg stash in my apt., I more or less give up!
I need a plan to shop better. In the meantime, I’ll shoot for two fruits a day, and work up.
Today I’ve had a green apple, but will have to buy more fruit before I can eat more!
