I think I’m going to celebrate my weight-loss goal achievements with treats that will help me accomplish my other goals. For example, I’ve got three goals up that require a GPS, which I don’t have. Maybe my big 20 lb prize will be that GPS, which in turn will get me outdoors and active more to achieve my subsequent weightloss goals. My ultimate goal (which I don’t even dare to put up here, it feels so out of reach) could be rewarded with finally getting a headshot. I think I’m going to go back to my list and work up a set of goals and rewards that will hopefully snowball!

Wow. In 3 little pounds I will have lost 20 pounds since march. It’s not at my goal weight, of course, but still a huge landmark to be celebrated. Any ideas on how to celebrate?

Woohoo! Hit the 10 lb point today. Very proud. To celebrate, I bought a new pair of running shoes.

Okay. So, since I first started this goal, I’ve lost 8 pounds. Hooray! However, the goal has also grown to 30 pounds from where I was then, 23 from where I am now. But both goals shall be celebrated! I’ve joined a Boot Camp, every morning, 6 AM. I am not, it should be mentioned, a morning person. Still, 43 things has really helped me see that putting one foot in front of the other to achieve lofty goals is the way to go, and I think this will be a big ol’ step forward.

I’m almost 8 lbs down from when I started this. Ideally I’d like to be about 17 lbs lighter than I am right now… and doesn’t that sound possible by september? Some sweat, some good food, some serious discipline… so when the show opens on September 18th I’ll look great and have tons of energy.
