Read the Bible and pray daily

Been thinking that I should do this for a long time now…maybe today is the day it starts.

hey guys
if you do someting EVERY DAY for a month (in this case reading the bible and praying), it is said to become a habit.
If you skip a day, you have to start the 30 days over.

I’m starting today Feb. 10.

I could use some input. On the one hand I feel I am accomplishing this goal. On the other hand I am not.
At the new year, I started a “Read the Bible in a year” program, to help me with this goal. Now there have been several days in a row I have not read, I have decided to read two days every day that I can, partly to catch up, and partly to get ahead so I don’t fall behind again. After all, I am human, and circumstances sometimes prevent me from doing things I want to do (sometimes from even wanting to do them).
I believe in pretense, and by definition I have NOT succeeded in accomplishing this goal. But in spirit I have.
My next personal challenge is going to focus on improving my self-discipline!

but I have not written down the verses. I’ve missed an occasional day here and there, but I believe I AM accomplishing this goal.

Missed 2 days, but I’m still on track for 5 days each week.
