My dad used to say, “If you wanted a car that did not leak, you would not have bought a Targa.”
He was right. I found and bought a “waterproof” car cover to keep the rain out.
We’ll see how this turns out.

Brake pad inspection and replacement

Not all the brake pads wear down at the same rate. In this case, the right rear, the one with the new caliper, is the only one needing replacement.
About an hour of work

now it’s “turn signals and emergency flashers”. Neither work. No fuses burned out, from what I can tell.
I will leave the car with Manny the Mechanic on Monday before I fly to IL on Tuesday. I’ll pick it up on Sunday when I get back five days later.

How this happened to me on a perfect day for it to happen must be that karma thing everybody talks about. It could have happened on a bad day.
