get a phd in world mythology

guess that one’s not too possible is it, guess i better figure it out!

I chose mythology because I thought, if I could fill my head with all the information about only one thing, what would it be? And I thought mythology was the most interesting and valuable in the discovery and development of consciousness. I’m having doubts, because of not wanting to teach it, really. Unless it would be over the internet . .. what else would I ‘use’ it for?

I’m not sure about this one anymore . ..this is what I would do in an ideal world. I really dont think I ‘have what it takes’ to keep kids in line. Maybe the world is moving towards total home and online schooling. In that way, maybe I could somehow teach over the internet. Otherwise, at this point, I’m thinking no way. But for some reason I still want to get the PhD

i worry that i will accomplish this goal and then someone will decide they want my job (if i get a teaching job) and get me fired, or generally disrespect me by proving they know more than i do for ex, if i were teaching some course, and then a student would say, ‘did you know x happened today in the news’, so am i supposed to know everything that goes on in the world in order to teach mythology? people who would generally try to take the lead role, and stray from the subject of the course. especially if they were persistently doing this-how could i gracefully tell the person to shut up or leave?
