Play with the orchestra

Everything has been cancelled. Just this morning.

Possibly because of the events.

Even if I’m just sitting most of the time, I love being so up-close to where the sound is being produced.
It’s amazing how, along with one step you take- one decision, fantasies come turning into realities.

I’m excited:)

But ah… it was such short notice, and there’s so much to work on it’s too pressuring I can’t tell you.
My part is just accompaniment, but it’s such an experience playing with so many musicians! It’s overwhelming, exciting. So hard to stay in tempo, to keep up, to read, listen and watch at the same time. There’s no room for mistakes- harmony must be perfectly maintained. The program includes arrangements from the Phantom of the Opera, the Sleeping Beauty, My Fair Lady, themes from the seventies, and some classics. I love it.

Sunday is the day! I really hope I don’t let them down. I was trusted enough to be the one to do this, so I want to and I must give it my very best. Practice, practice, practice some more! There’s the key:)
