Own a successful business

I want a business where my earnings are not based on how many hours I work. I want passive income.

This is my first entry, so please go easy on me…

I know success can be measured in many ways, but for me it’s fairly simple. I just want to have a business that pays me enough to pay all of my bills and still leave enough to have some fun with. It must be something that not only consistently brings in a minimum income that will allow me to do this, but have the potential to grow. For me right now, at least $2,000 USD a month would allow me to accomplish this goal. The catch to this is that I would need to be able to bring in at least this much income every single month, regardless of whether or not I work each day. So I guess what I’m really aiming for is residual income.

Sure there are plenty of people with regular jobs that earn this much and even more, but what happens to their earnings if for some reason they are unable to work for a few days, weeks, or even months? I don’t want my ability to work for an hourly wage or even a salary to affect the amount of money I can make or when I can make it.

I am taking steps towards this goal right now, but as with everything worth doing, it will take much work and effort on my part. I have gotten over the issued with my pride getting in the way of asking for help, so that should help me reach my goal much faster. I think I’ll only truly be happy with work when I’m doing my own thing.

I would like to own a business that will be successful, but I have no idea of how to start my business and I am having a hard time choosing one business to start. Please tell me of any ideas and or ways to start a successful business.

I want to continue to work from home and have a successful business.

I want to be a young entreprenuer. I have always had the spirit of a entrepreneuer but I am so scared of not succeeding and regreting the venture because I wouldnt know what I was doing, taking the wrong advice, not getting the right location or amount of money for my plans to be executed. I want a home business for extra money to bring into my household as well as having the business operations around my family so my kids will have an understanding at an early age, and to fulfill the longing of my spirit to run an operation.

I’ve got my ideas but now where do I go from there? I know I have to write a business plan, and I have started a little bit. I’ve done some research online. But starting a business sounds confusing. I mean what’s the difference between Ltd., Inc., Ltee., and Corp.? What should you choose? Where do you go for financial help? Do you have to have most of the money required yourself before your start anything?

We own our own photography biz and it’s pretty successful! It’s one of the things that I’m most proud of because it was something that we did for fun and turned into a profession. :) It’s the most rewarding feeling!

Well in fact I already own my own business (part time), but it’s so recent that I can’t tell it’s successful yet !
I hope to have this done by the end of the year !
