I’ve only got just over a month to go until I reach this goal because my graduation is on the 2nd of April. I’m kind of sad about coming to the end of this because it means university is over and I’m really going to miss it. But it’s a really big thing for me to have achieved so I can’t wait!
How to graduate with my Master's Degree
How I did it: I applied to be on a Master's course at the same University where I did my undergraduate degree. I took a full time course and went to all the lectures and seminars. After the teaching portion of the year was completed, I then spent last summer carrying out a research project and writing up my results for my dissertation.
Lessons & tips:
- Make sure you choose a degree course that you are interested in and will want to stick with
- Go to all the lectures and seminars, and take lots of notes
Resources: The main sources of help were the lecturers, who were very supportive and encouraging throughout the whole experience.

Too many words to describe how I’m feeling right now but they’re all good!! :) One more life goal to cross off the list!
I finally received my first internship placement! It’s an intermediate school less than 10 minutes from my house… SCORE! In my city, the elementary schools start earlier than the middle and high schools and I was dreading the possibility of a very long commute early in the morning. Now that won’t be a problem so whoohoo!! :) One step closer…
Well, I only have one more semester! And it’s internship which is basically all hands on experience so the end is very, very close. I’m really excited about graduating and moving on to the next phase of my life in terms of my career. Counting down the days until I graduate in December! :)
