leave a message in a bottle

I need to collect some smaller bottles or jars. The ones I was planning on using are too big and soaking the lables off is a pain the glue is too strong.

I have written my note and included my email for people to contact me.

I think I will be doing my first one next month. Watch this space.

I am going to do 10 one a month for 10 months my bottles are all green. Like the song 10 green bottles.

I have set up a email to write on the message and I will then run a little treasure trail with a prize if anyone replies, by leaving them things in places around the town. I hope someone replies and follows my trail.

I did this when I was a teenager, on a whim. Now I feel like I just contributed to water pollution.

i wrote a romantic letter in my best old english and burned the sides and made it look old and all an took the bottle along to a cave we went to explore, i climbed to the highest most difficult spot to reach and left the bottle there, you can see it from a distance but few will be able to reach it
the graffiti entries in the cafe date back to 1950ties and fourtys indicating, this cave does not see alot of people
