Learn to speak Spanish

In this area of the country there are so many Spanish speaking people that opportunities to serve others are multiplied greatly if you know how to speak the language. In healthcare, the need for Spanish speaking caregivers is always in high demand. Being ill and afraid is difficult enough without being unable to understand those who are trying to help you. Also, I see those who are in our area who do not speak English, or speak it well, as a mission field that the Lord has brought directly to our back door. Whatever the political or economic challenges or strategies needed, these people are ones that the Lord loves just like He does me. I would like to be able to be His hands and feet more effectively when I come in contact with them

Had thought about the idea of learning to speak Spanish for many years. Took French in College, yet never used it, so the knowledge was lost. Spanish is a language I can learn, and utilize, for frequently in my geographical area these days. It, too, is as beautiful a language as French and Italian. Going for it.

We recently purchased the first level of Rosetta Stone’s Spanish program, since my fiance’s best friend is getting married in Spain next summer and we don’t want to be obnoxious tourists who can’t get around because we don’t know the language. Foreign languages don’t come easy to me, but I’m definitely having a blast with trying to learn the basics of Spanish.

I have been getting into the mexican culture. I have a bestfriend, who is a boy, and he’s mexican. When dated for awhile and he taught me to say some sweet things in spanish, of course I sounded very silly. I wanted to take upon it to learn how to speak it fluently as fluent possible! haha. I also think if I learned how to speak spanish I could goto my favorite place Barcelona, and not look so much like a n tourist! So if you got any tips, help me!

I want to learn Spanish so when I go to Madrid, I could speak and understand people in Madrid and overall Spain by 2011. And above all I just love spanish and latin songs, so I would love to sing one fluently

For me learning to speak Spanish goes along with the goal to move to Texas. I’m thinking that in order to get a lot of jobs in Texas you’ll most likely have a better chance if you speak Spanish, right? It is time for me to become tri-lingual

I still use the free translator on the web and copy phrases to my iPod for on-the-go look-see’s.

Am thinking of taking Spanish GCSE in the fall of 2011 so ill be with my younger sister

Its not the basics im learning, but the things i want to learn, such as conversational phrases or insults which would come in handy to use at a person who has no idea what your on about, lol
