stop buying magazines

I haven’t bought a magazine in a month.. mostly because I stopped going into Mag Nation :P I should really read the ones I do have…

They’re just so shiney!

I kicked my addiction to women’s magazines years ago. They all said the same thing over and over and were full of advertising.

Last year I got addicted to Art magazines -they’re full of advertising, but they do have a lot of good, new stuff in them. I’ve bought so many of them and half of them I haven’t even read. I used to buy every art mag that looked good, now I’ve narrowed it down to the Computer Arts mag… but again I have so many of them and haven’t read a lot of them.

I can’t say I completely stopped buying magazines, but I don’t sweep out the entire contents of magazine shelves every month either. I now have select few that I really enjoy reading, so I guess it’s about time I get subscriptions.

Worth doing it.

Take a book with you everywhere you go, or alternately always listen to music when you’re out, being in the middle of a great song and lost in thought always gets me past the newsagent!

You’ll have so much money for other things :)

It’s been a while since I’ve bought a magazine, I think I’m done on this…Plus, ticking it off will stop me buying another, I won’t want to have to re-add something! I have saved so much money! Magazines are f**ing expensive! Plus I enjoy them for approximately 50 seconds…Well worth it :)

Not going to work, ever. I’ll try again, but I doubt it.
