knit socks using every single skein of sock yarn i own

...time is the reason i’m giving this up. i make socks when the feeling hits me. i will complete this goal eventually. until then, i will not buy any new sock yarn until i use what i have first.

i’ve made four more pairs of socks since my last entry. the weather is cooling down so right now i’m making socks for my daughter.

while going thru my stash, i found a couple of socks that need mates. i started on those today.

the first sock is completed. now i gotta keep the momentum going and finish the second sock.

i haven’t been able to create anything in a while. i’m hoping making a pair of socks will change that. they’re going to be lovely….striped with greens and blues.

it’s no secret that i love yarn. but there was a time when i would buy 4-6 skeins (two skeins per pair) of sock yarn every two or three weeks. i LOVE knitting socks…when the fever hits, i can’t stop. knitting with the toothpick size knitting needles put me in a zen-like state. i go into a zone and a week later, i have a pair of socks.

i haven’t knitted socks in the last couple of months and there’s a crate (yes, crate) full of sock yarn just waiting to be played with. i gotta complete this goal.
