get our own place

So, the one in Fife didn’t work out and we’ve been through a lot of things and places. We were told that we were approved yesterday at a nice apartment complex (well, nice enough) in South Tacoma right before Lakewood. It’s a 2 bedroom and they allow any size dogs so that will be perfect for fostering. We are planning on moving in around July 10th or so maybe sooner. I’ll mark this goal as accomplished when we get a move in date.

It’s a really nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in Fife, WA which is a really good area and right down the street from work. We are supposed to move in on July 1st. I’m not putting that as an accomplishment until we move in just in case anything happens.

We’ve been in Washington for about 3 weeks now, have a car, a job, but haven’t gotten our own place yet. We’re waiting for the income before we start looking. We are looking into getting something closer to work but we don’t know where yet. I’m thinking maybe Federal Way.

My husband lost his good paying job and we’ve been struggling for 2 years now. In a month, we’ll be moving in with his parents which we don’t really want to do. I’m having a hard time because I’m moving to another state and having to live with my father-in-law who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. We want to get up enough money and get a rent to own home which I’m not sure if that will be hard to do or not being as though our house went into foreclosure and we lost it :-( We want to out before 1 year if we can!

Just got confirmation that our offer has been accepted, we’re moving into a converted mansion in London!!!

Living at the Mums-in-Law is all well and good but, really. We need our own space!
