about the disappearance of cheers given or received when users delete entries/comments, & being a mom whose instinct is to console the distressed-in this case, those distressed by an unexpected drop in their cheer count-& also being a poet, I propose:
That we view 43Things cheers as drops flowing together in a great river of kindness & encouragement that cannot really be quantified. The river ebbs a bit from time to time, but mostly it flows.
Let’s just float on it & enjoy it. :-)

I was gone for three days over the Easter Weekend, and only had 5 cheers available when I got to work Monday. I used them all.
I checked 43 Things at 2 p.m. Tuesday (today), and I’ve got 12 cheers available. I think it’s the most I’ve every had.
I have to say some bad crap happened to me last night, so I’m wondering if the universe is trying to make me feel better with more cheers. On the other hand, I brought some of it on myself, so Karma should have penalized me, cheers-wise.
Anybody else ever feel a connection between something happening in their off-line life and their cheers at 43 Things?

to me why sometimes my cheers seem to appear immediately upon someone cheering me…yet other times it takes hours or overnight for them to appear. And why must they take cheers away if one doesn’t use them up quickly enough…(for that matter, how long do we have to use them?) I haven’t done much with 43people or 43 places, so my only real experience is with 43things, but I might be able to better manage them if I understood exactly what the guidelines are surrounding them;)
