BohemiaGlamIts decided, we're moving!
My partner and i are both graduating this may and decided that we would begin our application to become permanent residents in New Zealand.
Its exciting, and a big job ahead. Much money needs to be saved, and with some student loans in my financial burden, i have to get organized.
The great news is that my partner is graduating as a civil Engineer, and that this profession is on an urgently needed labour list, which could quicken the immigration process.
I have dealt with immigration before. I am Canadian, and my family moved to the US (Florida) when i was 12 and obtained their green cards through a case file i put together regarding my father’s business and connections/ achievements in his field. I began this process when i was 21. When i finally received my green card offer two years later, i had already returned to canada for University, and fallen in love. I declined the green card, and never looked back.
I am now almost 26, a University Graduate, about to receive my masters in Organizational development, and i am thrilled to apply to become a Kiwi and join the workforce in beautiful New Zealand.
Paperwork, dreams, graduation, money, moving. A new life, with my partner, and the hopes of raising our family as New Zealand citizens… Onwards!!! 3 months ago
