I have a spreadsheet set up for my books. On one tab is all the books I own. On another tab is all the books I’ve read (since 2003) and on another tab is a wish list of books I’d like to read. My book list is from 2003 on… I didn’t bother trying to figure out what books I’ve read previous because that task would be too much. My original goal in 2003 was to read all the books I own, but since I keep buying more than I can read I’m still only at around 45% (my spread sheet has charts as well). Good Lord… is this anal? ha ha.

Since I started maintaining my reading list on “allconsuming”, I think I may at some point actually be able to do a reasonable job.
Unless I visit a book shop and start jotting down names, It is going to be rather difficult to make a list of all the books I have ever read.

I first did it when I was in high school, on a piece of lined cardboard. The other day I typed it into ‘All Consuming’ (the one connected to this site), and discovered a few more that I’d missed from the first list.
There are 84 books on the list, but that includes some kids’ books.
