I ALMOST FROZE MY BALLS OFF IN DEAD-HORSE THOUGH!
How to cruise Alaska
How I did it: we received a email on cruise specials and just said what the heck....needed to budget for it, and then take care of all the stuff you need to when gone (newspaper, mail, etc.).. One of the thigns i did not plan for was the lack of phone coverage on the boat...this was a blessing though.
Lessons & tips: Go in the off season, better rates. Also, get a room with a balcony if you can afford it. If they offer the swim in glacier bay DO IT.

I’m getting a digital camera for my birthday. This will make taking (and posting) pictures much easier when I finally get to go.
I actually worked on board Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas. It cruised Alaska, we visited Vancouver, BC, Juneau, Seward, Sitka and Ketchikan. I do regret not seeing more, I worked a lot and didn’t have much time to site see, never the less it was a great adventure.
I would very much like to see Alaska again but not on a cruise.
I went on an Alaska cruise a few years ago aboard Celebrity Cruise Lines on the Galaxy. The excursions were awesome! If you have the chance, take a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier before they disappear! Make sure to take in the beauty of the mountains and towns. I took the outside passage along Juneau, Haines, Ketchikan, etc. I heard the inside passage along Denali is a must!
Apparently this is a good time of year for Alaska Cruises. I guess I’ll have to wait until next year! I’d love to see the glaciers close-up. I was reading about glacier cruises here:

I have always wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise. It would just be sooooo awesome, and beautiful. Hopefully my dream will come true one day!
This was one of the best things i’ve done in my life and i want to go back there again! i missed out on seeing the northern lights so i’ll try my best to do that if i do go back!
I have only been on one cruise to Alaska but it was the most wonderful cruise I have ever taken. The glacier and small icebergs in the bay were beautiful. There is so much to look at and photograph. Residents at stops along the passage were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back.
