How to find the perfect prom dress
How I did it: I found mine at Deb's, of course... it seems that's the best store for dresses (at least in the Midwest). Then again, I don't have many options, living in Nebraska - the middle of no where. It might've been a lot more fun if I live somewhere like NY.

This is THE dress I want. I found it on the internet, but I’m definately not buying off the net because I can’t try it on etc. So If I can’t find it in shops, I’m going to get it made. I LOVE it!
I actually found three dresses, bought all three and finally decided on THE ONE a month later. NOw the other dresses will probably be used for Graduation and for the cruise I’m going on (Graduation Present).
So, I was going to buy this dress on ebay for $40 + $17(S+H) + $30(remade in Purple) = $87. However, my mom thought there were too many cuts and slits, my aunt was being a fucken nasty bitch about it, and I just wasnt’ sure if it was a “prom dress”. I mean not that my aunt was saying nasty comments, but she has a way of being nasty without having to say it. Her opinions mean so much to me (I have to stop that), and it just tore me up inside.
However, my other aunt said it was really cute, but thought that it wouldnt’ be best if I bought a dress online. She suggested I go to actual stores and tried things on, so when she comes to NY in 3 weeks, she’s going to go dress shopping with me. Fun, fun, fun! And then when I was talking to my friend sherell about it, she insisted that it was more of a party dress. And I think that she’s right. I trust her opinion and so thats that, I’m not getting it. I’ll go shopping in a few weeks. So, we’ll worry about the dress then.
- Dress = $100(my mom’s dress budget, so this is fixed…hmm, unless my dad buys the dress)
- Shoes = $30-$40
- Makeup = $20
- Accessories = $40
- Transportation = ?
- Afterparty = ?
- Hair = $100
- Manicure/Pedicure = $25
- Underwear = $20
- Prom tickets = $135
Total: 500+
So, I have one for this year, but it wouldnt hurt to start looking for next year…

I went shopping in new york city. I found a dress and bought it. I don’t know if it’s perfect yet.. I’ll have to wait and see until I have my heals and accesories picked out.
MusicequalsLife is writing an English paper and not waiting until the night before!
so, this guy that i was supposed to be going with did something. He’s homeschooled and got caught on school grounds when he wasn’t supposed to be, therefore he had to appear in front of the school board and they decide to revoke his prom privledges. Way to go dumby!I’m upset, at least i didn’t get a dress yet!
