looking back, there was no need to be afraid.
How I did it: I just said to myself, I will not miss a single class unless it is an emergency. It works. The more you compromise, the more you find reasons to blow off classes. Don't even start. Just go. Even if you didn't do the homework or the reading, at least show up and you will at least pass. Your goal should be to get straight A's. It is doable. Just start with going to class every day and add giving the teacher what they are asking for, and you'll be fine.

Just think, there are usually some attractive members of the opposite sex in your class...hmmm...good reason to go.

As I start at MSU in the fall, I want to maintain a high GPA, work on extracurriculars, and keep my academic life going strong enough to get into Yale Law.

Do not skip classes. Make a pact with yourself that you will make every class unless there is an emergency.
I really believe that going to class is the key to succeeding at any college or university.

I am graduating high school this year and going to UCLA in the fall. I really hope that I can succeed with hard work.
Sometimes it takes a break or perhaps a later age or change of major to succeed. Be open to other avenues to success.
