Christ is guiding me and is with me 2 years ago

I like to imagine walking with Christ in a dirt path that is winding in a thick wooded forest. I don’t know where we are going but I have full faith in his direction.
I don’t see the path in front of me but as we walk it appears where we step.
Also, at church I imagine Christ sits and stands next to me, so instead of shoving my hands in my pockets, I keep them free and I imagine holding Christ’s hand.
When I’m scared I’d like to imagine Christ with me.
I am feeling his guidance much more lately, and he gives me all the right answers to my hardest tests! <3

Christ Is With You 2 years ago

Learn to quite the mind and body and there will be a small yet comfortable voice that is The Voice of Christ. He talks to you through anyway you may notice its important to listen. He his in your heart always and he will always accept you and love you if you let him.

follow Christ no matter where this leads right now. Even if it means right now doing some things that are pretty darn risky.

Quick comment about something another 43ter said: yeah, no matter what things you may be asked to do, and what things you may suffer, you feel safer and more relaxed following Him than before, because you have this safety net of knowing He’s got your back. And won’t give up on you or stop liking you because you screw up. Or really screw up by avoiding Him or saying mean things to Him (I don’t know how many people have a problem with that, but I have a tendency to tell Him I hate some things that He does, which is, well, not right).

I’m so, so confused right now though.

japes How long have you had a weak back? Oh, about a week back.

Mute the noise! 2 years ago

If you’re like me, you can get swallowed up by all the surrounding noises of comparison, idealism, and goals. Add in my own noise of thoughts about everything, and it’s very easy to forget that what God thinks about you trumps anyone else’s thoughts about you. I am so glad to be loved by God all the time, even when I forget this fact myself. I’m not even capable of loving myself as much as He loves me. So counterintuitive, and so unlike anything else in the world.

denying the self 2 years ago

Man, it seems insurmountable at times. I have all kinds of thoughts and desires to the contrary, and I forget all the time that I have ‘Him who is able to do more than we ask or imagine.’ I need to remember that it’s not about my record, but Christ’s, and follow him in gratitude instead of duty.

What is this. 3 years ago

Just because “ianity” was attached to Christ. Do today’s self-proclaimed Christians really follow Christ.

Sometimes I think people wear a rather thick mask.
And I’m not one to speak—-

I want to know more specifically what this “Following Christ” means. One day God will make it clear to me. I pray for it.

Since becoming Christian, I feel safe. a lot safer, sorta more relaxed on the whole. I feel the direction—I love to follow Christ into the good life.

Although I suffer imensly still, i am given strength to persevere, I am almost given the answers from God, By following Christ.

Basically, God loves me and I love Him a ton.
Follow Christ almost means follow your heart. And don’t forget that each step is made in Christ’s wake, do as he does, listen to the Word of God.

Most of all, act like you’re Christian. Don’t just be the self-proclaimed.

Started devotions with my wife this morning. It was transforming – we read Luke 5:4-11.
