don’t hesitate. it will at least calm your mind permanently. it will at most give you enlightenment where you obtain the wisdom of the ages and become one with the universe. Most people get somewhere in between- a glimpse of something bigger than themselves. Most people will learn a valuable technique that they can carry on into their lives. This unique technique will remove past defilements of the mind, like an eraser that removes scars on one’s soul. Yes. You read that correctly. It means liberation from suffering by changing the habit pattern of the mind. I was very skeptical myself. By any means possible, go see for yourself. You owe it to yourself for the rest of your life, and if you are a Buddhist, you owe it to the long line of you(s) that you will be being after you(s) die.

i got in for the july 26 session. hurrah! now for the hard part… it’s a true challenge, and many people don’t manage to stay for all 10 days. when i talked to my dad about his past experiences there, he got this whimsical tone in his voice, like he was reminiscing about some long-lost true love. it’s been about 10 years since he did a retreat and he clearly has missed the experience. i hope for me this has a similar effect, as opposed to driving me to leave after only a few days… i vow to stay all 10 days, even if i feel unwell.
