DarkChandelier is sitting, waiting, wishing.
Starting with “fugacious” apparently. Ha. ^^
goal is pretty impossible for me. I’ve tried and I’ve failed. I’m a busy university student, I really can’t fit learning all these words in every day. Thus, I am giving up on this goal and adopting the goal to learn a new word every week. That seems more reasonable to me.
it always makes one express better and feel good about it at the same time. i always liked words and how they relate to each other. hope to learn more n more
I added ‘Word of the Day’ from freedictionary.com to igoogle. Today is ‘tussock’ which is a clump or tuft.
Sara is liking herself more.
Parse: To examine closely or analyze critically, especially by breaking up into components.
Medical jargon counts! I should know ‘cause I just finished a medical terminology course.
Im doing really well with this. The way im working on it is I signed up for www.dictionary.coms “word of the day”, sent directly to my email every morning. I find it easier to remember if I write whatever the word is down about 20 times on a pad of paper, and try to use it at least once during the day, even if its just to myself in the car or something. Its weird how when you hear a new word or learn about something, you start seeing it ALL the time. It makes me feel more intelligent. : ) haha
