Experience, Experience, Experience 5 months ago

Already started private investments from the beginning of this year. Hopefully I can gain more experience and knowledge via ‘actually doing it’, books, and rich dad poor dad’s cashflow game.

Intro to Finance 9 months ago

I’m in an intro finance class and the world of investing is unfolding itself before my eyes. Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds-oh my!

We’ve been bombarded with the classic scenario of investing $1000 yearly and how compound interest makes you a millionaire in 45 odd years. A rosy, maybe not so accurate picture, but smart long-term plan nonetheless…..Is this the future of my next paycheck?

Any advice for the fledgling investor?

I sort have alway felt that I deserve to have anything for myself

currioulsy now I feel like I would be able to have something of my own – so may buy some premium bonds for me – normally if I thought of boying something it would have been for someone else.

I have been doing for a few years. If you can, invest in your company’s 401k. I also invest in a mutual fund.

    1st step 2 years ago

Well, my investment in a mutual fund was finally received and I’m now happy I’ve made the first step in investing. I’ve already spent quite some time researching on various legit investment programs and I think I can understand how MF works already.

Next goal, understand how stocks work.

Yes, it can be hassle to invest.
But it is worth it, I’m moving in the right track.

I’ve made it my goal not to let this become a pet on my list; I will cross it off next month (August).

    Good luck everyone
