    Worth doing!

Tim Robbins produced it, and is selling it direct-only, and you can rent it at Netflix. Satire, polemic, riveting theatre. Was mesmerized by the masks—very Kabuki, intense.

Amazing! I’m still processing it. I can barely form a sentence, maybe that’s because it’s 2am! lol

is to get everyone to see the movie The Corporation it’s amazing. Even though I consider myself fairly politically literate, I learned so much. And it manages to be hopeful and inspirational too.

There are revelatory interviews with Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Michael Moore, and CEOs from large corporations from all over the political spectrum. And the basic premise of the movie is that if a corporation is a person, legally, then it can be analyzed by a psychiatrist and consequently be diagnosed as a sociopath.

A memorable moment for me is when Howard Zinn compares corporations to the institution of slavery and he explains that while individuals in the institution may be compassionate and decent human beings, the institution itself is monstrous.

Interestingly enough, Roger Ebert has yet to review the movie, but the New York Times has.
