My first tournament i finished ninth, 3 out of the money. There was about 100 people there. My second hand I had the nut flush, and kept raising, booyah! I was very proud of my performance and can’t wait until I go back
How to play in a poker tournament

"I took part in a small college tourny, and ended up third! I won no grand prize but got my entry-cash back! It was also interesting in that I could traceback my demise to a single mistake in a round. I always knew I had the skills!"
How I did it: I simply came upon a poster advertising it in my university campus, and showed up cash in hand for the fun! I'd do it again but not keen to looking around too much for a tourny, and the one I took part seems not to be happening anymore.

Was a satellite qualifying tourney on a cruise ship to Alaska… missed the final table but came in 12th place and won a wee bit of cash. LOL Best of all, qualified for a WSOP Event next year.

I lost. LOL. Still, I would do it again in a heartbeat. (and my step-dad won the tournament and split the pot with me, so I wasn’t TOO bummed anyway! LOL)
