25th of October! The theme is nightmares!

I was checking out the Club Noir website to see when the next shows were (wanna complete this goal after all), and ran across THIS:

Burlesque Workshop 22nd September 2007 (Glasgow) £75~ Ian will guide you on stage presence, confidence and acting. Tina will run through top tips such as costumes, girlie tricks, choreography, and have you tassel twirling within an hour. You will create a stage name and develop your stage persona by playing up to your individuality. You will then be instructed on how to create an act. You can dip into our dressing up box of accessories. The most exciting part of the day is when the whole group will put on a burlesque show, and you will receive a film of this.

I’m extremely intrigued and mildly horrified all at the same time.

Disappointed that it did not live up to the hype, it was a fun night, I enjoyed dressing up and enjoyed going out on a swish night, but wouldn’t say the entry price was worth £10, especially with the drinks prices so high. I was really hoping to enjoy it as well. =(

Working on Saturday night! How lame is that? Very. Yes. I’m definitely going to the christmas one, though. I have decided.
