Well, I skipped the women’s conference this past week. Just did not think it was for me. I knew it all along. I feel good about my decision. Signed up for “Get Motivated” seminar. Looks very intersting. Excited!

What would this look like I wonder. Leading women outside of the church setting, and helping them to discover the true answer—Jesus! That would be awesome!

I guess if this is a goal, I should define how I know when it is achieved. In reality, I guess that it is all part of an ongoing process.

I’ve just been given a book by a good friend – written by one of his lecturers (The Feiner Points of Leadership). In it there are 50 rules that good leaders should follow.

For me, step one in achieving this goal is to read and distil the book – noting the key points here (the act of putting them into writing will help me actively learn them). The next step will be to begin to put them into practice (which I may do as I go along).

This book, specifically deals with the ‘how’ of becoming a better leader. However, I recently read an interesting article which also advises you consider first the Who, What, When, Where, Why.

So again, before considering this goal further, perhaps I will first look at these questions which will provide valuable focus.
